CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE Empowering Women Mentoring 8 PROJECT
Ceremony of awarding certificates to mentees of the 8th year of the Empowering women project.
Gabriela Laušmanová will lead the presentation, we would like to thank the project ambassador Leona Schovancová and mentor Lidija Kovarik, who is also the CEO of Pilsner Urquell: The original beer experience. The company that was the general partner of this year’s event.
10 years since the first meeting in the Empowering Women Mentoring project, that’s a total of 357 mentees, 120 mentors, thousands of hours of work and countless experiences.
We thank all the partners who helped us create this story and were part of every chapter of it. We thank the mentors and of course all the participants who completed the project.

The debate will focus on innovation, digitalization, and new technologies as a natural part of modern business. Special attention will be given to how women can use technology to develop their businesses, increase efficiency, flexibility, and competitiveness, and how they can serve as an inspiration for future generations.

In the 1990s, the TV series The X-Files launched the so-called Scully effect. Thanks to one of the main characters, Agent Dana Scully, there was a noticeable increase in the number of girls and women who began studying STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Europe, where women make up only a fifth of the ICT workforce, now needs a similar model. Let’s change that!
