Fabio Costa was appointed CEO of Philip Morris ČR a.s. on June 1, 2024. Prior to this, he served for four years as Vice President of Strategy at parent company PMI, where his responsibilities included two key global partnerships (KT&G and KAVL). He also led a number of key initiatives aimed at accelerating our transformation, both in the product and commercial areas.

Fabio Costa has extensive international experience. Prior to joining PMI, he led Samsung Group’s global strategy team in South Korea for nine years, focusing on the internationalization of Samsung’s portfolio and growth, including several international acquisitions. Previously, he worked primarily in restructuring for Danaher, Ahlstrom, GE, and Stellantis around the world. He holds an MBA from Darden GSB and two master’s degrees in engineering from Turin and Chicago.
